From the Arctic to Southern Europe: learning journalism in the field
- Designs and leads an international field school for Concordia students in Thessaloniki, Greece, and co-teaches mobile journalism masterclasses at the International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Italy.
- Co‑creates multimedia documentaries with community partners, where students report on Indigenous clean‑energy leadership and sustainability in practice.
- Guides students through the full production cycle of professional‑level stories (video, text, photo, interactive) that are published on external news platforms.
- Embeds students in collaborative projects with Indigenous Clean Energy and Volt‑Age so they learn to report on the net‑zero transition alongside engineers, policy experts, and community leaders.
- Supervises research‑creation MA projects that pair field reporting with reflective writing on ethics, decolonial approaches to journalism, deep listening, and building trust.
